Pink Lemonade with Lavender

Refreshing, calming and totally delicious, this is the perfect summer afternoon beverage!


1 1/2 C Lemon juice (fresh squeezed)

1/2 C Sugar

2 Tbsp Honey

4 C Water (divided)

1 ½ Tbsp Lavender buds

*Optional 2 drops of purple food colouring


  1. Over medium heat, combine 2 cups of water, honey, sugar and lavender buds to make a simple syrup. Bring to a boil until the sugar is melted then remove from heat and let steep (2 – 24 hrs).
  2. Strain the lavender buds from the simple syrup.
  3. In a large pitcher combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice, lavender simple syrup and water and stir.
  4. Add food colouring if a pinker colour is desired.
  5. Serve over ice.
